Chef Jason Jernigan is a Boston-based private chef known for creating immersive dining experiences where food, music, storytelling, and human connection share equal footing. His work extends beyond traditional private dining, focusing on experiences designed around progression, interaction, and intentional moments that bring people together.

Known for highly personalized multi-course experiences, Chef Jason’s style blends Mediterranean, Greek, Turkish, Italian, and globally inspired flavors through the lens of classical training and Southern technique. Raised with Southern roots that continue to influence his cooking today, his approach balances bold flavor, warmth, generosity, and layered comfort with refined execution and modern presentation. Those influences remain a foundational part of how he cooks and how he hosts.

Whether creating intimate dinners for two, executive retreats, private celebrations, or his signature mezze-style experiences, each menu is built specifically around the people gathering at the table.

Jason completed the Professional Chefs Program and Professional Pastry Program through the Cambridge School of Culinary Arts, along with Boston University’s Professional Culinary Arts Program. He has also trained under and alongside respected culinary leaders including Chef Jody Adams, Chef Jacques Pépin, and Fabrizia Lanza of Sicily.

His work has been recognized with Best of Boston 2025 and Best of Boston 2026, and he has created experiences ranging from private chef dinners and culinary collaborations to specialty events and pop-ups throughout New England. Most recently, he led a plant-based collaboration pop-up at Alcove in Boston, highlighting his versatility and ability to create flavor-driven experiences across a wide range of cuisines and formats.

Today, Chef Jason continues creating experiences that extend beyond dinner itself - combining customized menus, storytelling, curated pacing, music, and meaningful details that leave guests feeling connected long after the final course is served.
